Thanks for your nice comments! It's always great to find new blogs without looking for them, like I now found yours. :) Haven't had time to really take a look yet, but I have to say I love the combination of lace and felt.
I like Marissa Nadler too; saw her in October, and have been meaning to buy the new cd...

hi there - i was sent to this blog via your sweetheart of a mom, and as both a fellow designer (jewelry/mixed media) and photographer, i have to tell you how very impressed i am by your work!!! i love the combination of felt with lace, as well as the simple style of the blue/grey one (hmm, would look so wonderful with a necklace in silver with vintage photography and stones and such, yes?). i also love the space where the photographs were taken - all very, very cool. i just wish i didn't have a dial-up connection soo slow to see everything you have on your archives. sigh...good luck with the show!

Ashley, your dresses are unbelievable. I'm so impressed...you have been sooo busy since I came to visit San Francisco. What drop-dead gorgeous hand-made dresses! You are quite an artist. I love to combine ulikely fibers like you have done. I like silk and wool together for example...
