Thanks for your nice comments! It's always great to find new blogs without looking for them, like I now found yours. :) Haven't had time to really take a look yet, but I have to say I love the combination of lace and felt.
I like Marissa Nadler too; saw her in October, and have been meaning to buy the new cd...
Both you and your dresses are amazing! I am so sorry I will not be able to make your show. Being on a Tuesday just didn't mesh with my work schedule. Best of luck though. I will be there in spirit! I love you and I'm so proud of you!!!
Ashley: I LOVE the lace dresses. So beautiful. Can't wait to see the dress that you create with the seamless lace sleeves! Looking forward to coming to your show and seeing them up close. You are so talented. Do the dresses come in large sizes? Hope so. Cheers to a wonderful line! \0/
Hi Sweetie... Wow! I am very impressed with all the hard work you have put in but sm even more amazed by the beautiful work that you have turned out. Can't wait to see you next week!
hi there - i was sent to this blog via your sweetheart of a mom, and as both a fellow designer (jewelry/mixed media) and photographer, i have to tell you how very impressed i am by your work!!! i love the combination of felt with lace, as well as the simple style of the blue/grey one (hmm, would look so wonderful with a necklace in silver with vintage photography and stones and such, yes?). i also love the space where the photographs were taken - all very, very cool. i just wish i didn't have a dial-up connection soo slow to see everything you have on your archives. sigh...good luck with the show!
Hi Ashley Your creations are incredible..I'm so very proud of you. Congrats on you're show and for all of your upcoming endeavours. Sorry I couldn't come to your show but Freddie is having surgery that day. You are amaaaazing!!! Love Hilde p.s. hope this goes through as this is my 4th try at a comment
Ashley, your dresses are unbelievable. I'm so impressed...you have been sooo busy since I came to visit San Francisco. Your blog is also amazing, I loved looking at everything, and I just saw your comment on our crazy whiney whinery tour..haha. Call me when you get a chance, and best of luck at the show tomorrow. Love you, Christina (your cousin).
What drop-dead gorgeous hand-made dresses! You are quite an artist. I love to combine ulikely fibers like you have done. I like silk and wool together for example... http://ravenhill.typepad.com/
