 Enjoying chicken/garlic/mushroom soup for dinner
while reading Natasha's piece in the latest Kinfolk.
She is such a talented writer and cook...
Whenever I read a piece by her I am inspired to cook something right away.
Just last night after reading about her spaghetti craving
I developed one too!
I've been really into adding anchovies to things lately.
They're so good mashed with shallots and rubbed over roasted broccoli, in tomato sauce, etc. yum.

Also on my radar, Keke.
It made me think, "I wanna have a food blog too!"
And then there was "Whoa, slow down girlfriend"

I just cooked some onions until translucent, added carrots, celery, and 1/2 a chicken (leftover from roasted chicken the night before), poured veggie stock over it, tossed in a whole garlic clove, let it simmer, then added some shitake mushrooms a few minutes before serving. good with parm and cilantro/parsley to top!

oh and the potatoes I had left over from the roast chicken from the night before, so I just sliced and tossed them in as well...
