Always inspired by the pages of Apartamento...
Tried to capture our apartment in the morning light,
I think we need more plants, like the ones in the pictures or like Renilde's.
I'd love a few huge ones, only they don't seem to survive well in Seattle light.
Maybe some of you recommend good house plants that need little light?

oh and this Sofia Coppola commercial for Marni/H&M
thanks, Suz

Drat! I had a ton of plants you could have adopted a few months ago! Would you be interested in caring for my succulents while I'm away?

Also, I recommend Swanson's Nursery for all of your greenery needs. Not only is it beautiful, they have an abundance of plants to choose from as well as a knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you pick the right one. It's one of my favorite places to spend an afternoon. I'm confident you'd love it!

Dang! Would have loved to adopt your plants and would be happy to take care of your succulents!

Huh, I've never heard of Swanson's, I definitely love myself a good nursery. In fact, I just discovered the community college has one on Belmont/Pine, they're pretty cheap and it's nice in there.

the Monstera Deliciosa is a super strong plant that need little light and care.
I would love to have one myself, but can't find one that is not tied to a stick.

You truly are one of the most creative women I have ever seen. I adore everything you do, and take so much inspiration from your "make it yourself" attitude, as well as your killer taste in everything from clothing to house wares. Thank you for you inspiration xx

Perfect, I think they'll love it at your place. I'll have to figure out a way to transport them from gramma's to you.

I totally forgot about the green house by SCC! I remember when they were building it last summer. I'll have to pop in sometime to check it out.

would ferns be an option? might look ever so nice in a hanging planter in a macramé net. something like this perhaps, in a neutral colour? http://pinterest.com/pin/154881674654899048/

yes kristina! i totally agree a hanging one (especially in something macrame) would be perfect and also may get around me having to buy something huge. plants get expensive!

Anything that normally grows under the canopy of a rainforest. These are usually tropical and need little to no light.

Also I would imagine those fiddle leaf fig trees grow like beasts just about anywhere. Even Seattle.
