I got the most amazing Lion's mane mushrooms from a vendor at the University District farmers market yesterday. To prepare you just tear it into chunks, dry fry it, and add a little salt and garlic. It had the meatiest flavor. I also found some Japanese eggplants and my favorite kimchee in the world- cucumber.

those are.... amazing. here in montreal it's finally porcini season but i would happily eat those instead..
Oh my that mushroom is gorgeous... it would have been hard for me to eat it and not just stare at it in awe.
