Deepa and Gautam's beautiful wedding. It was a traditional South Indian wedding filled with many rituals and customs that were so touching- my favorite was the 'Kanya Dhaanam' where Deepa sat on her father's lap as he gave her away, kind of the equivalent of walking the bride down the isle. Somehow the act of sitting on her her father's lap really touched me- it was very childlike. After all the rituals we had the most incredible lunch which we ate with our right hand! And the most delicious icecream :)
