Went to my favorite market the other day called UWAJIMAYA and spent about two hours looking at magazines and another two looking through the actual market...
Come Home! is one of my all time favorite living magazines, I looked at every volume :)
I love older women with such good style

my two favorite things on a one page spread: Chemex and Japanese toothbrushes
they have the best produce and meats...
Then came home and made dinner! Instant miso soup, cucumber salad, soba noodles with garlic, green onion, chili pepper and tofu, and bok choy with kobe beef!
oh, and dessert! my favorite!

Uwajimaya: I used to spend hours in that store when I lived in Seattle. Love that place.
Isn't Giovanna from Una great? Fantastic little store. I didn't know her husband had a restaurant. I'll have to try it the next time I'm up there!
