MAUDE!
Maude is the most special childrens store I have ever been to! Not only is everything hand-picked from the very finest local, French, and Japanese designers- the shop is owned by two of the most creative, talented, and intelligent ladies around. Jess (owner who makes dolls above) just so happens to be a trained Reggio teacher, so you know everything in the shop is thoughtful and respectful of children. In a few photos you can see Japanese Olympus fabric from Ambatalia. The beautiful Japanese wooden dolls were made by her super talented baby sitter Phoebe, who's work you must check out. I am hoping to sell my line of felted baby stuff here! Cross my fingers! Oh, and it's in Petaluma!

I recognize that fabric on the table in the last picture because I have a wonderful little lavender pillow you made for me that made it all the way to my bed in Zurich...did you get the fabric at that store??
