Tuesday

Here are some shots of our new place.
Sadly the rest of the place is filled with boxes and loads of things and is not in the best shape to show yet...
But isn't it great?!
There is a balcony just outside the window, the fireplace still works, and the light is amazing!
It feels so much cozier than our last apartment, which felt a little harsh (I think because we just didn't have much furniture).
I was telling Renee that I really want it to have the feel of the photo she took of the A Détacher store,
 subtle and feminine...
I am looking for a really pretty, faded floral printed sheet to replace the white one we had on our couch to make it feel more comfortable.
Oh and some really gauzy fabric for the windows, like Clarisse's curtains
I love to mix it up a little, moving can be so fun!
Any other home ideas?

Wow, amazing place. I couldn't believe you were moving out of your old apartment because it seemed so fantastic, but this one looks even better. Damn, they just don't make architecture like that were I live.

Well, congrats on your new place and good luck! Moving can be so tough, unpacking all that and getting settled in. But the decorating is fun! I'm excited to see your vision for the place be fulfilled.

Ashley, I have been quietly following your blog and work for some time now. I think you have absolutely wonderful style and any apartment would be lucky to have you! I love the windows here and I can't wait to see what develops in this space. Congratulations on finding a place that feels a little more like home. I am very happy for you! ~ Kristina

Ashley! It's gorgeous!!! I am just now catching up on blogs and had no idea you were moving. So glad your sale went well - I wish I could have been there to support you the way you did me. I am going to keep my eye open for pretty fabrics. I'm sure there's got to be some lovely spanish type florals floating around this island somewhere.

Anyway, so glad to see you've found a new place. I hope Miles is sleeping better! I will be excited to see your new place when I return home.
