Thursday

I just spent the morning answering some questions for an interview about lifestyle blogs.
In answering I found myself looking through my entire blog, remembering moments in my life over past few years and am sitting here in my robe reflecting on how amazing it has been to have this blog. It is so shocking to realize how much the internet has inspired my aesthetic and allowed for countless friendships and wonderful opportunities.

That being said, I have to thank all of you who look at my blog on a daily basis. I have no idea how many people read it regularly, I know a lot of people don't comment and am afraid I am one of those people :/ but must admit that I am so grateful. Every morning I am inspired by so many people...
Thank you!

I think I was contacted about the same interview but haven't answered the questions yet. I read your blog whenever you have new posts and am always coming back a second time for particular food or interior decorating inspiration. Your aesthetic embodies a lot of how I want my life to be--simple, pared down, unfussy, natural, rustic and adventurous, but elegant.

I'm grateful to be a part of the blogging world too--my life has been so enriched by the abundance of knowledge and friendship shared by fellow bloggers.

It's a funny world, the blogging world, isn't it? I wonder how different the things we make and do would be without it.

I'm with Jenny - your blog continually inspires me to live the life I have always wanted to.

I agree, I've been blogging off and on for less than a year, but I've been reading though not commenting on a lot of blogs for longer than that, and my whole aesthetic and awareness of what is out there in the world has broadened greatly. It's always nice to find both people incredibly similar and dissimilar to one's self, I think.

Ashley your blog is so inspiring! It's a word that gets thrown around too much ("inspiring," "amazing") but I truly mean it, looking at your blog inspires me to live better.

No, I want to thank you for such an inspiring blog!

I keep returning to your blog because of the wonderful way you capture the subtleties of things. I agree with Jenny's comment above.

I have to say, I was pretty shy when it comes to commenting only recently started to. :-)
