This dinner was so good, baked radishes and fish with some fennel/lettuce salad. One thing: we have this terrible florescent light in our kitchen which makes cooking a little unpleasant anyone know of better bulbs to put in?

if you have fixtures that can take incandescents, then i'd suggest something with a yellow tinge to it. they make the kitchen so much more desirable to be in!

I've just come across your site and I love your aesthetic. I'm also happy to see your baked radishes--most people don't realize how good cooked radishes can be!

Don't know of any good ones but had a lamp as an alternative to the florescent light for a while, when the bulb went out (wasn't replaced for months). An impractical option for the kitchen, not worth promoting but I began preferring the romantic lighting for cooking. Hope you find a good one, it really does make a difference, completely agree.

hello hello. I love the half-chrome(aka silver bowl) light bulbs, they diffuse the light away from your direct sightline. chouette!

I've never heard of baking radishes. How long and what temp?
