Beans for the week.
I like to make a big pot of something to use for my lunches throughout the week on Sunday. 
Beans, lentils, and barley are my favorite. 
Just throw a halfed onion, a jalapeno, some garlic, a bay leaf, and sea salt in and BAM you have half your lunch for a week!

i made something similar a while ago. the thing about soaking your beans and regarding the different tips on it, i'm just curious how long do you soak yours for? is it really necessary to soak it overnight?

Those look delicious! Have you cooked much with Rancho Gordo beans? I'm really into their cranberry beans lately.
