I love that Diotyque body range as well! Probably the Baume Genereux from it is my signature scent at the moment -it's like something from childhood...
i love that bottle! i always wear the kiehl's musk when travelling- the little roller ball one is so convenient. my boyfriend and i always gravitate towards the same scents so we share. in the last few years comme des garcons x monocle honoki and comme des garcons wonderwood have been our faves. i was given baredo gypsy water as a gift and it's been a nice change to have such a feminine smell every once in a while...
funny, i was just preparing a post on this very subject. i've been scent hunting lately, so far le labo rose 31 is my fave but way too pricey! also loving olo's dark wave. i've heard a lot of great things about kiehl's original musk, need to try it!
I've become pretty obsessed with perfume over the last 6 months, so I have quite a few in rotation, not to mention constant sampling, but the closest I've come to a signature scent is Cuir de Lancome. It is the perfect buttery floral leather - slightly smoky, creamy and comforting but sophisticated. It just seems to strike the perfect balance for me. It is discontinued, but still available for cheap from discount perfume websites.
For summer, I think my #1 will be Thé pour un Eté by L'Artisan Parfumeur. It smells of cool jasmine tea with lemon - so lovely.
It's a lovely bottle. It's so great to find a scent that you love and works on you, isn't it?
I spent years never feeling great about any particular scent, and then I studied aromatherapy and now I make my own! It's so rewarding to understand the way that scents work together and the effects that they have on you, physically and psychologically. And to be able to make the perfect scent for yourself.
i love your questions. I just got an OLO scent called Lightning Paw that seems to match my chemistry because I don't even realize it's there after I've put it on. But people tell me I smell good, so it must be working. And I love the name.
i've worn erastus by olo the past six months, reminds me of the south west in this great smokey, hippy way. Also in Fiore's kashimir balm smells amazing, i love using it as a balm and hair oil...

I wear Kai (oil essence roll-on) - I get multiple compliments from strangers daily.
I love almost every oil or lotion from weleda or dr. hauschka, you can smell the quality of the ingridients!
