which of course blew our minds.
It is, by far, my favorite place in Portland.
I felt like we had stumbled upon a tiny trattoria in a small town in Italy
owned by a close-knit family
which, in part, I suppose we had!
which, in part, I suppose we had!
I cannot describe how delicious everything was.
Especially the wine (check out the "red" in the picture with the fish).
I think we tasted everything on their menu, which I now regret leaving behind(!).
But if you have a chance to visit Portland, do visit Luce.
It's worth going just to eat here.
Handverk brushes for sale
Those RINGS!
Giovanna suggested pouring a little wine in at the end of the soup... so delish

Next time I'm up in Seattle, I think I'll have to take a little side trip to Portland. I'd love to see Giovanna's new store, and eat here!
Yummy pics, Ashley!
I love your blog! I also love those Monica Castiglioni rings. I got one in Seattle at A Mano - fave shoe store!
Adding this place to my list of places to eat in Portland! And staring at my calender trying to figure out when my next visit can possibly be...Luce looks like a special place!

We ate at Navarre the last time we visited & it was so great. Love Una too....those folks do great stuff.
Looks like a nice spread! Although I think that trout or char is giving me the evil eye!
