Monday

M and I drove out to the coast this weekend and stayed in a very cozy little hotel,
bonfire package included (wood, wine, two jars to drink out of, even organic smore making ingredients).
It was a fun weekend to say the least,
but when we went for a hike out to the beach we found a beached gray whale :(
I wasn't sure if I should post the pictures.
It was very disturbing, but fascinating at the same time to be so close to such an enormous and majestic animal.

This is beautiful. Beached whales are such a strange thing to encounter. The saddest of things, such a huge magical thing taken out of its element and passing on. I think its likely he was probably sick, or old, and is now in a better place... this is beautiful thank you for sharing. x
