Um yum.
Such a strange combination (pasta, chickpea, saffron, evoo), but seriously SO delicious.
The perfect thing on a dark gray, freezing cold day.

I whisked a few saffron threads into two egg yolks and gently stirred into soup when it was finished cooking, which made it extra rich...

I will be trying this too.

I've recently started soaking chickpeas instead of tins and I'm seeing the difference.
