I'm writing because I was so amused by the chef's treat of the fish cheek! I thought that was only an Asian thing, which I developed a penchant for after having grown up there, and remember the horror of the American tourists we hosted as I asked for such delicacies as a small child. (Though I'd also ask for the fish eyes, just to see their reaction.) The fish cheek is so soft and flavourful!

yes! i eat the eyes too- thought that may be a little to grotesque to post, but the cheeks are such a delicacy! glad to hear someone else eats it too :)
