Yesterday we hiked Rattlesnake Mountain.
It's definitely one of the most beautiful hikes I've been on since I lived in Germany.
Moments like these make it so worth it to have a car.
We're trying to decide whether or not to get one, it's such a tough decision.
This weekend kind of convinced us...
Snoqualmie Falls
Rattlesnake Lake
The tree stumps are gorgeous!
So tranquil
View from the ridge
SO FAR DOWN!
I had to sit down it was so high...
Cheers, we did it!
It's hard to believe we were at the tippy top of that sucker!
Monday
Happy Memorial Day!
Enjoying the weekend eating oysters with grated horseradish
and Moscow Mules (maybe not so appropriate, but aren't the cups great?)
at Walrus.

M was inspired by this Mark Bittman video with Frank de Carlo, which is actually kind of hilarious (maybe they were high? lol)
It's a black chickpea soup...
He kept it on the lighter side, since it was warm (!): opted out of the cheese and added spring peas and crumbled bacon instead!

YUM.
Monday
We recently had dinner with a friend and loved the pretty, mismatched tableware
(reminded me of Giovanna's beautiful plates at Luce) and candelabras...
Made me kind of want to ditch all my dishes and turn them in for some pretty plates.
Our new place is so much more femme than our last apartment and I feel ready for a change!
Spring cleaning?

Felted sling chair I collaborated on with Ladies and Gentleman Studio for Noho Next at ICFF this weekend.
Thursday
I thought I would post another interview/chat my lovely friend Melodee.

Saturday
Mikuni wild harvest fermented garlic.
Probably one of the best things I've ever tasted.
It has the richest umami flavor, "notes of sweet balsamic, salty soy, and faint garlic"
We made a quick pasta dish, but it would be so gooooood as a spread on bread!
and it looks pretty easy to make!
Can't wait to try it!
